WW2 U.S. Army M1939 winter coat, or "greatcoat," is a heavy, double-breasted 32-oz olive-drab Melton wool coat designed for cold-weather protection in World War II. Size 38R. All 8 bakelite buttons with national Eagle. Sergeant chevrons, 2nd Army shoulder patch. written in ink inside the lining is "E.L. A.S.N.(Army Serial Number) 32809262". Very good condition, no moth nips. The chevron on the right sleeve is loose.
